Wonderful, amazing and excellent!
A bit difficult, but that is what makes it exceptional. We were even on the track when the volcano exploded!!! One of the best walks I have ever done in the world.

Very helpful and nice.
She talked a lot of all possibilities, including what we did not think of (ie we wanted to do a kayak tour, but very expensive, so she mentioned boat tours). But only two very helpful women, we had to wait for 30 minutes - they need more staff!!

Quite expensive ($35), only a few showers, very crowded (vans are two metres away from one another!), NO unpowered sites - more expensive.

Awesome activities, a bit expensive, but really fun and worth it.
Interesting Maori town with great food, a nice show, even though it is a bit too 'touristland'.....

Nice view from the top - not an easy one (quite steep!), but enjoyable at the summit.

Nice guide (interesting and friendly).
But we were not told when we had to get off the water taxi (eg confusion). Lack of explanations once on the water (historical, geological??) VERY EXPENSIVE for a three hour ride.

This is how the woman helped us..... She gave us brochures telling us 'read them, make your opinion'. And that is the only help given to us that day!!

Desert Road Scenic Drive
The nicest drive so far - amazing landscapes, incredible scenery.
But zero lookout on small parking area to stop the drive. Enjoy the moment and the view.

Dolphin Seafaris
Nice crew and that is the only positive point.
We ended up seeing three dolphins and not looking for more. We were supposed to swim with them. It would have been a polite gesture to offer another possibility to catch them.

Spaceships
Excellent experience with Spaceships NZ.
We hired the newest campervan and almost everything is perfect (fuel consumption ok, no mechanical problems....) but I had to upgrade the van because of two very bad experiences with older Spaceships campervans in Australia.

Nice kitchen with good equipment.
Showers and toilets ok, but men and women were mixed. Cheap $25 for an unpowered site and very big - BUT showers 50 cents: even though it is cheap, once you pay for a campsite you should not be requested to pay for showers!!
