Nice campsite on the way to Picton.
Located at the shore and with some decent hike spots. Facilities very clean and showers okay. There is a loop walk you can do in the night that will blow your mind since thousands of glowworms will sit there and give you some amazing blueish light. Recommended!

It's good for a night or two.
We got there at 11 a.m. after our ferry from Picton arrived and got a spot easily - it filled up rapidly between 2 to 5 p.m. though. Located directly at the street but not too noisy. Big grocery stores are a 10 min walk or 3 by car. Roughly an hour to the central city if you walk through the park/hillside.

Closest DOC campsite towards Milford Sound.
Large area with some loos and shelter. Was clean and nice when we wete there. Water tanks wete half-full but you have to boil it before use. The small river is nice for a short bath in the morning. Lake Gunn trail provides you with a stunning view!

Nice little campsite.
Mostly grassy spots. Shared commonroom with logfire is very cozy and clean. No staff there when we arrived but online booking worked fine.

By far the cleanest facilities and the cosiest commonroom/kitchen we have had so far. The staff is lovely - this is a real gem.

Amazing Campground!
Check-In with staff was very friendly, we had a nice spot between some trees. The lake is crystal clear and perfect for a wee swim and the surrounding mountains give a superb view. Would definetly come back.

Fantastic place to watch the stars!
Big DOC place with rather clean facilities. No shared kitchen or whatsoever but a great choice if you want to see Mt. Cook and do the Hooker trail!

Lovely little place.
Nice owner, clean facilities and a well equiped shared kitchen. Some peacocks also live there which makes quite a view. Perfect stay if you need a powered site while travelling from Quenstoown to Te Anau / Milford
