First impression a bit spooky, as there are a lot of long-term campers there.
Some of the campers look a bit neglected. Not much going on. But that could be because we were there on a weekday in early December.
Showers, toilets and the kitchen were very, very clean. Hot showers can be used unlimitedly. $48 for 2 adults, power site.

Place right on the mountain bike trail.
So you're standing in a lovely green area. Lots of space around you. For $20 without power, the toilet facilities weren't well maintained enough for us. Also, the street was very noisy.

Great parking spot with a direct view of the sea.
No toilets on site. We were there in mid-November and it was already quite full by 7 p.m. There were probably about 6 parking spots left free. We had a direct view of the sea. Wonderful!

In mid-November, 4 of around 10 pitches were occupied.
But there are still day visitors to the beach who park there until around 6 p.m.
You have a great view of the sea. There are public toilets right next to the pitch that are very clean and well-maintained. Great spot. Only 9 out of 10 points because it was so windy when we were there that the whole camper was shaking.

Great spot right on the Abel Tasman and therefore also on the beach.
We had a pitch with a direct view of the sea.
Toilets and showers very clean. Showers can be used for unlimited purposes and are very large. Extensive opportunities for recycling, washing and drying clothes.
But quite expensive for a non-powered pitch.
On both days we met really nice staff.

Super nice and quiet parking spot.
Prices are more than reasonable. Showers and toilets very well maintained and clean. Hot shower for $2. I was even able to blow dry my hair afterwards using an outdoor socket.
View of the sea via the view, or by walking to the beach.
The owners are very nice. Even when we damaged the grass a bit after it got wet and stuck, they just gave us a friendly smile and a thumbs up so we could move on. When it rains heavily, the grass gets muddy.
We were there in mid-November, the place was very empty. Only 4 other campers. Late arrivals were no problem, as you put your money in an envelope and put it in a mailbox.

Great place right on the lake.
Very quiet despite being on the main road. Free hot showers. Toilets and shower areas are a bit dated. Washer and dryer available for $2 each. Owner very friendly and helpful. Lovingly run place.

First night after picking up the camper.
We came to Steve without any experience. He was super friendly and helpful. He explained everything to us. There are no fixed spots on the site, so you can choose the one that suits you best. There are plenty of toilets, hot showers for $2. There are several entrances that lead straight to a wonderful, kilometer-long sandy beach. A fantastic start to your camper vacation.
