In retrospect we would go for the Shotover jetboat.
On the Kawarau jetboat you won't go through the narrow cliffs. It is cheaper and longer than the Shotover though.

We did the boat trip on the glacial lake.
You don't get very close to the Tasman Glacier, but you'll see some nice icebergs floating on the lake.

This really was a great park to camp!
They were improving on some fascilities, those weren't great. The location was perfect which totally made up for that.

Very impressive cruise.
Milford Sound is a beautiful place, we even had the luck to see dolphins.

Practical campervan, although the battery doesn't seem to recharge while plugged in a powered site.
It does while driving, so its not a very big problem.
