Been in NZ for 7 months and this was our worst experience.
Fishing trip, our family, 2 kids under 8. If you do not hold the rod as Justin wants, he gets angry, close to aggressive. Unbelievable. Takes the boat to rough sea despite that the kids are crying for fear and we ask him kindly to go back. The whole trip was a nightmare, do not go out with this guy especially if you have children.

Beautiful rainforest with magnificent kauri trees.
Short walk, easy to make it/longer walks to Whangarei Falls and another (as good) waterfall.

Tidy, BUT the most expensive campsite we visited during 28 days.
Sites very close to each other - few metres between campervans.
