Favourite beach on our Northland campervanning trip. Long beach with estuary at the end. You can walk in estuary at low tide. At north end 1 hour round track takes you to headland then beautiful Whale Bay. Accessible only by foot or boat. Lovely walk through Bush and farmland. Peaceful holiday town with a dairy. Clean toilet. Only minus was a visit by boy racers at night doing donuts by vans. Luckily their visit was short. Room for 4 Van's in allocated site. Will return in summer.

Amazing location. Felt safe. Dairy lady was lovely gave us free bait for craypot. Toilets weren’t in best condition. And no drinking water.

Nice spot by the beach, locals are friendly. Toilets were a bit dirty but I imagine as it had been a busy day.
