We had a really lovely night at the cowshed last week. The facilities were good, only one shower but really nice! The owners were lovely and welcoming with gorgeous dogs! 24 dollars for two adults, worth every penny ☺️ free WiFi too!

Nice campsite in the middle of nowhere. Quite cheap to stay and simple but ok facilities. Only 1 shower, but a very nice one. WiFi didn’t work when we were there, but would have been free. Owner was really friendly

Please don't go here with kids!!! It's a parking lot on a farm, it's nice that there is a shed with kitchen stuff, a place to sit and one (yes one!) really amazing hot shower. But we arrived early with the kids hoping there would be animals, etc. But there is really nothing to do here for them. It's just gravel to stand on and the shed. Some cows in a far off Meadow. Not a pretty spot either. Might be perfect to meet other single travelers, but not for kids. Two dogs are really friendly as is the owner.

Nice little spot. The owners were lovely and friendly. Non-powered sites but they have a little kitchen area set up with everything you need including toilets and a hot shower. They also have two gorgeous dogs.

Wonderful place to stay and experience. Alan was most welcoming and even gave my children a free tour of the farm and animals. Best showers ever. A true kiwi experience.

A nice place to stay. A bit off the road which keeps the noise down. As others have noted there is a shower here with hot water now!

Such a nice spot, off the highway on a gravel road, right in the fields with friendly owners! Still a farm, but great facilities with a recently installed hot shower as a bonus! Only $20 for 2 adults (without power) in a campervan - enjoyed seeing the cows at breakfast!
