Hukafalls Jet is the only jet boat company permitted to take you right to the base of the mighty Huka Falls, New Zealand’s most visited natural attraction!

This half hour of thrills, fun and excitement takes you along a beautiful river environment, lined with native bush, sheer rock cliff face and hot water streams. Hold on tight as you'll be travelling in one of our state of the art jet boats at an incredible 80km an hour! Along the way our trademark 360 degree spins will leave you with a beaming smile and a heart pumping with adrenaline. And that's even before reaching the spectacular Huka Falls! From your unique vantage point on the jet boat you will have the best water level view of Huka Falls – New Zealand’s most visited natural attraction.
Hukafalls Jet is the only jet boat company operating on this stretch of the Waikato River and offers one of the best jet boat rides in New Zealand. Operating on this stretch of the river since 1990, Hukafalls Jet has an outstanding record of professionalism and safety.

We operate 364 days a year (excludes Christmas Day), weather permitting.

Trips depart around every 30 minutes but we do advise booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

  • Great fun.

    Really good ride, only we sat at the back of the boat and could not hear what the driver was saying. But it did not take the edge off the ride.

  • Great fun riding on the Jet Boat.

    Everything was a target '360s were exhilirating, getting close up to Huka Falls was great but no history given by guide. Very expensive for 30min ride and photo package also cost too much.

  • Paying $109 for a 30 minute jetboat ride is way too expensive I think.

    Plus the costs for your pictures at the end. Yes it was amazing, but paying $109 for that??
