I rented a bike for half a day at Planet Bike who have great service and helpful, the bikes are perfects to enjoy the mountain bike area which is well sign posted and perfectly looked after.

Very friendly staff helped us find bikes that fit great for us, gave us a description of the trails and what to expect, lead us to the trail head and looked after our car while we were gone.
Had a blast!!

Great bikes and wicked guides. I was in a group of 15 and these guys ensured that everybody had a primo experience and pushed everyone to their limits. The coffee and muffins were great after the ride, and the whole place is the coolest looking warehouse in the land, super stylish. Would recommend Planet Bike to anyone!

Very good mountain bike rental service close to Rotorua.
The bikes were perfect, friendly staff and awesome tracks in the Redwoods.

Bikes not too great but it is to be expected with rentals.

Great place to ride but the customer service and support was very disapointing.
We had trouble finding who actually worked there. There seemed to be people walking in and out of the shed but no-one who wanted to help.
The bikes appeared to be good but once we had been riding for a while a bracket broke (wear and tear - not rider fault) and left the bike unable to be ridden. After getting one bike back they refused to help get the other bike back so we had to struggle ourselves. In the end we took an hour and a half to get back from where the bike broke -with no help from the soggy falling apart map. Then they proceeded to charge us for the broken part AND the extra time we took to get back.
A beautiful place to ride but a shame about the service and support.

We rented bikes from Planet Bike and were immediatly dissapointed by the unprofessional customer service from the owner.
He was condesending and offered to "draw us a map" when asked if the rental came with one. He made several underhanded remarks about our potential biking abilities. If this is a demonstration of the way he interacts with all of his clients I dont know how he has stayed in bussiness for as long as he has. We had a great time on the trails in the complex. I would recomend them for all levels it was a blast but our experience was tainted by this man so full of himself that he wanted us to feel bad about ourselves, thats not what we paid for.
