  • What a great base for cycling the Hauraki Rail Trail!

We stayed three nights and really enjoyed the experience of camping here within the grounds of RV homes and beautiful gardens. Denise and Milton, one set of caretakers, are friendly, personable, helpful, good-humoured and kind. The showers are powerful and hot, very welcome at the end of a day’s cycling! The outdoor kitchen is very well-equipped; the Community Lounge open to all; the free garden produce a lovely bonus. Many thanks, Denise and Milton.

  • Convenient overnight stop.

No views. Gravel parking lot, nearly everyone else was a permanent resident. Showers ok, $2 and staff friendly.

  • Really kind people and all facilities are nice and clean.

More of a motor home than a camping spot, but generally good. 😊

  • The owners are very friendly, and the design of the place is quite charming.

The cost is approximately $30 for two people per night, or a little over $15 for solo travelers. Showers are available for $1, and washing and drying cost $4 each. There's an outdoor kitchen with a roof, a well-lit seating area, and a convenient sink. You can charge your phone and other devices, even if you don't have a powered campsite.

  • Non powered tent site $12 a night, lovely polite owners and very helpful.

A lovely grass spot for car and tent with bbq park style large table and chair sets and $1 for a hot shower token. Very quiet as mainly people in RVs but tonight the stars are shining and it’s cold but I have a hot water bottle in winter and it’s a very nice setting. Highly recommended if you are a respectful person of others. Yes there are bbq and kitchen style facilities and most people here use their RVs so haven’t seen a person use it yet and yes the toilets are clean and immaculate well done paeroa RV centre 🙌

  • Only few spot for pitching a tent but one little alcove has been built, cosy and pretty.

Great facilities, free WiFi everywhere, clean bathrooms and the owners are just adorable.

  • Friendly staff, $2 hot showers for 5 minutes, which was in a clean bathroom.

The setting seems like people live their permanently with some travellers coming and going (a woman in a motorhome had plants and a cat). Wifi connection was poor and had issues staying connected. We were shown to a spot along the fence that wasn't a designated camping spot even though we called to check that there was space available. $12 per person. Kitchen space was fine for me.

  • Great for RV's - nice flat gravel surface.

Host (and fellow campers) friendly and welcoming. Facilities are dated however sufficient.

  • Friendly staff.

The area for tents is at the back a short walk to the dated token operated showers. Camp kitchen is a simple outdoor shelter with only enough room for one group to cook/ eat.
