  • We did the 'behind the scenes' tour which is really worth the money.

You get quite a good view on their outstanding work protecting the kiwi.

  • Lovely to see Kiwi and get really close to them, even though in semi-darkness.

The exhibition was mixed - some very interesting parts but others not so - we liked the bits about the wildlife. Quite expensive, but a good cause.

  • Excellent way to see kiwi in near natural habitat.

    Quite short though.

  • This is a small but lovely indoor park.

We would recommend the backstage tour where you can see the chicks.

  • Overpriced, but worth it just to see the Kiwi.

No need for other needless information, eg stuff to buy if you wish to live on the West Coast.

  • Our son loves Kiwis, so we had to take him to see one at the Kiwi Centre in Franz Joseph.

NZ$70 to see two Kiwis!!!!! Rip off. They were two of a particular type of Kiwi, for the price they charged, they should have had all of the types of Kiwis there.

Once you have seen the Kiwis, there are a couple of pitiful displays on the threats to them, then you move into an area on glaciers. It was the most expensive 15 minutes of my life.
