  • Really nice campground with the best access to Abel Tasman.

Nice pitches, lots of shady options, a bit randomly spaced but in a nice way, not all lined up neatly. Facilities were really good, clean, not too busy and free hot showers with good pressure :)

Stayed 3 nights, kayaked with Kahu Kayaks one day which was walkable from the camp.

$65 a night for two people on a powered site, which I thought was good for the area.

We let reception know that one of the toilet blocks was a bit stinky from our pitch over night, it’s bound to happen every now and then when you’re out in the bush! Although the response was slightly mardy and I didn’t receive an apology or polite customer service voice, they did offer to move us and put us in an equally nice spot further away.

The shop at reception has stuff you might need urgently, as well as ice creams and wine. There’s a coffee cart in the mornings, and you can swim in the swimming hole up in the bull paddock. You can walk to a few different food options, I recommend the Fat Tui.

Lots of Weka and Pukeko on site which I love.

Overall, can’t knock it, it’s a proper nice rural campsite vibe right on Abel Tasmans doorstep.

  • Lovely site loads of space and massive powered pitches!

Great clean facilities and lots to do in the site, lovely river and bush walk with glow worms although we didn’t manage to find them! Great pricing for it all as well!

  • Absolutely stunning camp site with great facilities.

Very welcoming and friendly. Next to a bamboo forest, beach, glowworms, kayaking, horse riding, etc. Lots of options to stay on a powered site with big space and privacy. Many toilet and kitchen blocks. One of the best!

  • Great Park with a nice vibe.

    Very friendly also!

The bush walk was fun and we rented a sea kayak with the partner right outside the park

  • We absolutely loved the place.

Booked for 1 night, ended up staying 3. The owners are super friendly and the elderly dog Delta is adorable. Kitchen with loads of stoves and sinks, plus bbq’s. Showers and toilets were nice and clean.

  • Loved my stay here!

The reception lady was super friendly and even organised a free shuttle to the water taxi for me. The grounds are beautiful and the layout is well thought out. The kitchen is well-equipped and the showers are clean and super hot. It was worth the money !

  • Lots of space (especially compared to others in the area), beautiful and very peaceful, great vibe, hot shower, clean toilets.

Cheaper than other places as well (would put this in the $$ category not $$$). Stayed 2 nights, loved it!

  • So relaxing!

Really hospitable, looked after above and beyond. Great showers, everything needed in the kitchen area. Powered site was perfect, plenty of room so spread out in the sun on the grass. Glow worms were easy to find at night. Enjoyed a unique horse carriage ride. Also had some delicious fish and chips. The park is close to the walking trails into the national park. Definitely the place to stay!

  • Much the same as other reviews, this is a little strange if super quiet as campground is about 400m from reception.

Staff were brilliant and helpful though. Booked our trip into the NP and we kept our van parked at the office for the day. WiFi was good. Facilities were good too. Open shower/toilet block so a bit cold but showers were powerful and hot so can’t complain. Laundry facilities were good and kitchen. Beautiful clear sky and quiet night with wildlife. Big pitches with some hedging between spots. Recommend!

Clean and well kept shower and kitchen blocks. Was a much needed hot and powerful shower after our walk. Only downside was paid WiFi...

  • Our luck we didn't rely on the bad ratings...

Located right next to the abel tasman with clean facilities and free hot showers. The chickens around are cute and the lovely arranged plants give you some privacy. 200 MB Internet free, 10 GB (!) more just 5 dollars...

  • Nice place.

Facilities are basic for the price. And the Campervan park was a little far from main office. I found it expensive for what it offer, buy is ok.
