  • Really good site, as it’s a hostel it’s got good facilities, proper hot showers, big kitchen and loads of sofas and decking to chill on.

The salt water pool is nice when it’s hot, and it’s very quiet on site during the day. We came November so might be different in Dec forwards, there’s 5 showers for women, 5 for men, but they were never busy. All very clean!

Bit of a different vibe to other sites we’ve used, like we were just visitors to a communal home. Still welcoming and nice people none the less, but the lady on the reception was a bit rude about us putting on some laundry when she needed to at the same time (no way of us knowing this lol).

Lamb feeding everyday at 5:30 and horses and lots of birds around. Great base for the caves.

Powered sites next to the road that can be loud in the day but silent at night. Would stay again!

  • We loved it!

Warmhearted, talkative host, clean and cozy building and shared rooms. We could do laundry there, cook in the tidy kitchen, pet the dog and sleep relatively quiet although near the street. For 18$ pP definitely worth the money! We would definitely come back, it made us feel home :)

  • Animals (lambs to feed!), loverly staff, beautiful views, small pool, great atmosphere and one of the best equipped kitchens we came across during our 10 week trip.

Great for kids to pet the animals and also some toys, colouring, etc are provided.

    Highly recommended!

  • Fantastic facilities (kitchen, hot showers, laundry) friendly operator.

You can’t book campsites online but you can call or just show up. Has both powered and non-powered sites. (Non powered being a patch of grass)

  • We truly loved everything about this place!!

We came 2 adults, 4 children (6,11,15,17) and a motorhome. We wrote directly by mail to the owner Dave a couple of weeks ahead, since we were not able to find ANY places nearby available during the christmas days. Dave was so kind, and the kids loved his litle dog George, the pigs, the dear, the sheeps etc. There is also a nice pool, an old tenniscourt, but with the most magnificent view etc etc. People staying is a nice mix from all over the world, backpackers, elder people and families. We felt very welcome and didn’t mind what at first glance seemed a bit outdated and untidy, since everything turned out to have its own order and Dave kept everything clean and in order. We highly recommend this place and is one of the reasons for us to definitly come back, even though we have to travel from the other side of the world (Denmark).

  • Beautiful views of hills and sunset.

The hostel is nothing like we’ve ever seen before - perfectly maintained and executed, with all tools, utensils, fireplace, games, toys (for our kiddo) you could ever need. Truly a gem. Well kept with pride of ownership. Quiet and clean. Couldn’t have asked for a better place.

We stayed in a powered site, with plenty of space. Quiet and safe. The rooms looks tidy and big enoug, some with bathrooms. Bathrooms were pristine, and showers hot and without a time limit (though save water!)—good when showering with a baby/toddler.

    Great a lot.

  • Very relaxed campsite.

Only one shower for each gen, but wasn't a big problem. Big kitchen and chill area.

    Dave was very chilled.

Only con, you can't pay with the smartphone and have to have a card or cash.

  • We went camping here with our van.

Good facilities, but not really clean. Very strange host talking weird to especially ladies. Very inappropriate. We wouldn’t recommend to go here when you are a girl alone. Campsite near busy road. So you hear cars driving fast at night.
