We really enjoyed our stay, we were greater and shown around the site, which was very welcoming.
The site we knew had no huck up or wifi, but it had a lovely clean and not over crowded site. The kitchen was well equipped and free to use, with all utensils and plates. Likewise the showers and toilet facilities immaculate clean and free to use. No nearby eateries but we knew to bring our own food

Great facilities , although kitchen was rammed with everyone trying to use it (3x stoves 2 sinks and fridge freezer, good utensils).
Nice loos and showers. (Only one in the way to Milford we could find with showers).
1 washer 1 drier at $4 a load.
Checkin before 7pm. We managed to book a space on the day at $25pp.

Stunning location with amazing views and well placed to visit the area.
Facilities are good yet basic.
Beware of the sandflies, there’s A LOT of them so come prepared.
Our host was very accommodating and helpful when booking activities in the region.

Very friendly staff, great showers, clean toilets, well equipped kitchen, beautiful scenery, not too crowded and with a lovely short walk to a waterfall.
Only downside is it’s a bit expensive but when you’re that close to milford sound it’s to be expected. Lovely place!

Nice campground with flush toilets, running water, and amazing showers.
There's a waterfall and hiking trail on the property. The camp host is the real MVP and expertly answered all my specific questions about native fish and eels.

Called ahead to book and spoke with a very friendly gentleman.
Had intended to stay for use of laundry/showers. Upon arrival found pricing to be $40 for two people non-powered, only parking on semi circle gravel driveway (mostly full), and no dryer for laundry (not a huge deal overall but as it rains over 200 days/year we wouldn’t have been able to get laundry dry). As we couldn’t use facilities as hoped we opted to ask for refund and moved along to much nicer/cheaper DOC site down the road. Reception lady was less friendly but did refund us. We felt the DOC site was better value for less money.

We stayed a night here on the way to Milford Sound.
Very helpful owner/staff, who also showed us the path to find a beautiful nearby waterfall. No powered sites, but opportunities to connect if needed. Lots of kitchen gear available, but a little crowded when multiple people were trying to eat and prepare meals. Good hot showers as well. Lots of space between sites, and it felt very quiet and private.

We have spent 1 night after the cruise at Milford Sound.
There is no power sites, but you can plug your stuff in the kitchen. The place is very clean. The man who welcomed us was charming and warm. At this camp it's really the best shower in New Zealand and the shower is free!! :D

A lovely lady received us with a charming welcome despite it was almost 9 pm.
The place is clean, the showers are especially good. A great place to rest if you want to arrive early in the morning to Millford Sounds. Not powered sites but this is what the camping experience is about. I would definitely come back.
