Big Holiday Park in walking distance to the Waitaki river. Stayed for one night and had a quite spot next to the Aquarium. Nice little lounge, good kitchen facilities (microwave, fridge, sinks..), little river beach. When you stay in a tent, you are likely to hear some noise from the road.

Well thought our holiday park which is beautifully maintained. Lots of lovely trees and big sites. Views up into the hills and in the distance are gorgeous. Multiple amenities and they are clean and tidy and well maintained. The staff were friendly and the price is really reasonable.
Free kayak use and a lovely swimming area which is great for kids. A bonus too is that we could bring our four legged pooch. Definitely recommend.
Beautiful camping close to the river. The owners Theo and Diana are very friendly. Hospitality is their last name I think. They will help you as much as they can! We had a lovely time!
The facilties are okay: nice showers, big building for kitchen etc. We asked for the barbecue place and they delivered a barbecue for free!
We stood close to the river and from there.
Very friendly people in Kurow. We also did the walk to the lookout. Steep but worthy!
Was such an amazing wee spot that we decided to stay another night. Had everything we needed for a family of 7. And an awesome swimming hole for the kids on the hot summers days. Nice relaxed atmosphere and wonderful owners.
Really nice owner! We came in on a winters day and because there weren't many guests we were allowed to use the lounge with TV, fire place, pool table, big kitchen and warm bathrooms and set our camper up right in front of it. Great on a cold day!
Fabulous job of refurbished amenities. A good camp.
Beautiful setting by the river. Very quiet midweek in March - so a choice of pitches between the permanent caravans which were not occupied. Felt very relaxed. Very clean facilities. A bit quaint but one of our favourite sites.
