2 adults in motorhome $150.96.

I agree with the positive comments below that it is a great place for kids. Adults too. The entertainment facilities are brilliant.
Why not a 10? This was the most expensive park we have stayed in. My gripe is they don’t have curtains and plastic duck mats in the showers. A lot of cheaper parks do.
In some cubicles the coat pegs are on the opposite side to the shower head and there is only a narrow divider. The water flow is high so splashes are inevitable. The floor gets wet so getting dressed and drying feet is not easy.
Its a great park for families but if you don’t want all the bells and whistles there are cheaper options.
We did enjoy the beer whilst in the pool!

Best holiday park we have stayed in we loved this place , highlight of our holiday.
It was abit on the pricey side but was worth it considering the luxury pools and activities are included in the price. The swim up bar and cocktails were very well received. Will be back again.

Oouph Taupo is expensive!
More expensive than Rotorua which surprised me. We enquired at this resort but it as $150+ per night for 2 adults and 2 kids (regardlesss of age over 1) in campervan. Very busy park with lots happening so perhaps good if you wanted to stay for a week on a family holiday but not so good for road holidays where you arrived after 4pm and leave by 10am as you wouldn't get the most out of the facilities and so pay an awful lot for power and a parking spot for a night. We didn't stay.

We love this holiday park and so do our kids!
We have stayed here 5 times and every time we live it just as much as the time before. The staff are friendly, the sites are spacious, the amenities are always so clean and the pool has to be the best outdoor pool in NZ!! Couldn’t recommend it more if I tried!

Nothing bad to say.
Easy to find. Staff friendly, had powered site for Motorhome right by the thermo pool. That was a great surprise, beer in a giant hot tub watching Luca at sunset… Amazing find and time. Everything we needed and more. Grounds/maintenance man we met was top notch too. Super helpful.

This place was the highlight of our trip for the kids!
The facilities are off the charts (huge heated pool with swim-up bar, with large screen showings of Disney movies every afternoon that you can watch from inside the pool, huge waterslides, 2 bouncy pillows and an ok playground), which made it worthwhile for us to pay more than the usual price for a powered site. Absolutely recommend it

Absolutely brilliant campsite.
Very big, so the cheapest sites are a bit of a walk to the toilets. The pool is fantastic, and with a family film played at 5pm. So watching Moana, in the warm pool, drink in hand was ideal. Lots of sports activities. Great toilet and shower facilities. Expensive site, but great for a wee night of luxury (and still cheaper than my rent at home)

Guns guns and more guns.
Our entire time was spent listening to guns being fired continuously from morning to night at the neighbouring gun range. The owner thought this was completely acceptable and didn’t think it was information that should have been shared before taking the booking. Given this was easily the most expensive camp site I have ever booked, I would hope it didn’t come with constant gun fire!

Try to come here once a year.....its got the lot.
Feels like you're abroad in a fancy holiday park! It's got your usual arcade style area and rentable gokarts and trampoline pillow (2 of those, actually) but also has an electronic game that I cant quite describe and best of all.....WHAT A POOL!!! It has a screen for daily movies, a cave you can dive down in to touch the treasure chest at the bottom, and a BAR! In the pool! I haven't seen for a few months but I believe there is now some slides that, judging by the designs they had up last time, looked like theyd be amazing. If you have kids and dont fancy abroad, this I'd your place. Plus, Taupo itself is amazing.

Would live here if I could.
We came while Auckland were still locked down (Dec 2021) and there was hardly anyone else around. It was paradise. The pool is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen. The bar, the cave, the spa, all so clean and perfect temperatures. We practically stayed in all day. The kitchen and bathrooms were really nice too. We paid $67 for an unpowered site (for 2, I think the price is just per site not per person) so it worked out to be pretty cheap considering we got two days of pool access. Could be a nightmare if it was busy, but quiet it is heaven on earth.

Stayed at Dino Valley which is further away but cheaper. Toilets and showers were hardly 2 mins away. The pool less than 5!
