A little more expensive but worth it for the amenities on offer. Stayed at Dino Valley which is further away but cheaper. Toilets and showers were hardly 2 mins away. The pool less than 5!

There is nothing to fault with this park- a hidden gem that makes you feel like you’re in a tropical resort. Complete with large heated thermal pools, a swim up bar and movies in the pool, this park is a credit to the managers. Exceptional staff and facilities

Just perfect!
We were so tired after 6 days on the road and this place has everything: BBQ, hot pool (with bar), hot showers, nice camping area, nice personal, cleaning cheap and includes soup.
Only the bar on the pool closes really early like 8pm

Most expensive site we have ever paid for in NZ (more expensive than one in walking distance of Queenstown CBD) which is quite unbelievable because it was definitely NOT worth it. Not in walking distance to anywhere or anything. Majority of the park was closed for site grass maintenance. After paying our $$$ and signing weird digital T&C document, drove first to the dump site. Road was blocked off. Drove back to Reception “oh it’s closed as part of our site works” I was told. “Should have disclosed this before taking our $$$” I replied “as we need to use it/was one of the reasons we are paying to stay here”. Had to walk our tank way down a road and through worksite to empty it. NOT COOL when you were just charged over $90 for one night. Our site was not quite level but spacious. Wanted a swim and drink at the swim-up bar in the much advertised heat pool. Entered pool gate at 7pm only to see girl locking bar up for the night. Website and sign on gate all say bar open until 8pm, but no. More people joined us in the pool over the hour all commenting re why is bar closed early? Pool not hot enough, needs at least 2 degrees more to be confortable, freezing when we got out. Back wall of shower cubicle was shuddering / vibrating like a generator or similar on the other side - really, really loud. No relaxing here! Kitchen and laundry facilities also insufficient. Over-rated park, would not go back.

Stayed here with family. Great facilities and a huge park. The pool had way too much chlorine but I guess they have to..? Such a big park facilities can be far apart. Expensive but nice for a treat. Lots to do for kids.

The best (and luxury) camping experience ever! Only for 86NZD for 2 nights we had access to a thermal pool with a large movie screen from 8am to 10pm, very clean and well-maintained toilets, well-organized kitchen with lots of electrical plugs, and really good hot showers. Not to mention the always smiling helpful staff. It was an amazing stop over to relax and rewind before driving towards south island.

20Sept18. 2 nights @$55 per night. Expensive but as previously described excellent facilities. The only reason not 10 is we didn’t like the big screen tv at the pool! Oldies for ya!

20Sept18. Quite a bit of change since my review of 4 years ago. More expensive, of course, at nzd55 for 2 of us on powered site.
Facilities just as good. Only downside for us was the large screen TV overlooking the pool.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.

This was such a nice spot, that we decided to stay a second night. The reception was great, they offered us a pick of where to put the campervan since it was empty. There's nice bathrooms, great showers, and a coin-operated laundry with dispensers for soap. The thermal pools were definitely the highlight - they range from warm to hot. There is a large screen playing movies, which you can see from most of the pools. Also a small swim in cave and swim/walk up bar. I was impressed with the bar - they had gluten free food options. I saw what looked like plenty activities for kids. All in all, I could've stayed there a week and been happy.

We thought $92 was expensive for a night for 2 adults and 2 kids however this is the best caravan park we have ever stayed in. So many options for kids to do - they loved the go karts and the bouncy pillows and we all loved getting in the pool while it was 12degrees outside. Staff were really helpful when I had an issue with the dryers and the kitchen and bathroom were absolutely spotless. This encourages people to leave it as they found it.

This was my wife's favorite park because of the heated thermal pool. The swim up bar is a nice touch! Chips were hot and crust and the beer cold and tasty. There is even an outdoor movie screen at the pool for the kids. Good place for families. It was a little noisy during the day due to what sounded like a shooting range nearby. Quiet enough at night.

Stayed here March 20 and 21 2018. Large park 30 minutes from town lake front by walk. Quiet and nice grounds with grass power sites and a large thermo pool about 30c. It has a nice bar grill with burgers and breakfast that you can get from the pool or not. Good hot showers and clean showers and kitchen areas. A little on the high side for a power site fee but you get a lot. Free WiFi that works fast and you can get on line anytime. Pool and extras for the kids if you have them. Good place to stay for a few days to see the area as there is a lot to see. Would stay again.
