Located 14 km north of Whangarei, turning left off Whareora-Pataua North Road, the track starts at the end of Hoban Road.

The main track is a loop walk with a 1.5 km finger that runs up to the kauri grove on the ridge. A short distance into the track is a short detour to a viewing platform over the waterfall (no water access).

Please note: Track is slippery when wet.
