Carpark just outside the local iSite. Free after 5:30pm for self contained for 1 night, clean toilets at the edge of the carpark. Excellent coffee across the road at Bean Me Up. We were there in autumn school holidays (also when borders were closed) and were the only campervan there.
Good spot in a central location, good toilet facilities nearby as other commenters have mentioned. Was full at about 5pm when we were there (mid summer) so get in early during summer months! Had someone come check on us that evening to check we were self contained and she said they do the rounds of all the local spots
Quiet and convienient. Right next to nice public toilets and stones throw from beach for great sunsets/sunrises. Public car park but no problems at all and great if you want to grab food in town.
Limited spots in this car park, but right next to 24/7 bathrooms, in town so its easy to walk to any food or drink place. Next to a river and a short walk to the beach. Quite and clean with no problems for us.
Just a public carpark that you can freedom camp in overnight. Free from 5:30pm-8:30am, outside of these times it’s $1 an hour. Public toilet nearby and you’re in the centre of town. Local council check your vehicle most nights.
