My first taste of tramping in NZ - used it to get acclimatised.
Fairly straightforward 4 hours return from village. The two swing bridges and the glacier lake with icebergs add interest.

Office (Auck) very busy when I collected camper - they overlooked a couple of things I had ordered - spare duvet, table & chair.
Would also have liked some info on tyre pressures e.g. a sticker!

Great location and very convenient for Mount Cook Area.
(centre @ Lake Pukaki)
Booked flight seeing + Tasman Glacier Lake through them. Toilet/shower block needs upgrading.

Couldn't do glacier landing due to high winds so got a scenic flight instead taking glaciers & west coast.
$30 refund given for non-landing & I got to sit beside pilot!
