The place is unfortunately run down, toilets are clean, facilities best years has past.
Staff very friendly and helpful. Some permanent camper there. Stunning view of sunrise Rangitoto. Shops and restaurants close to the campground. If you need to stay here stay, otherwise stay somewhere else.

Ahipara Top 10 Holiday Park
Best place to be.
Great sites with a lot of hedges and trees. Small but equipped kitchen, awesome BBQ and outside area. Clean hot showers and toilets (music playing). Very friendly and helpful staff. Booked Cape Reinga tour and be picked up at the campground. Stayed for 3 nights with our motorhome. Deeply recommend this place and would come back again.

Good place to stay and relax.
New shower and toilet block. All clean. Hot showers. Music is playing. Kitchen with enough sinks and cooking places. Nice BBQ area outside. Friendly and helpful staff. We didn't use the thermal bath. We stayed 2 nights with our motorhome.

Nice campground with stunning view.
Facilities a little bit old but clean. Hot showers free. Kitchen big enough for cooking and eating. Nice and friendly guy help us for self-registration and gave us tips for the travel to Stewart Island. We stayed 1 night with our motorhome.

Great place to stay and take a Jetboat ride with Mark on the Buller River.
Facilities are clean and nice. Hot showers 2NZD. Stunning view on the river from the veranda. Very friendly and helpful staff. We stayed 1 night with our motorhome. For the second time in New Zealand. And we will come back again.

Nice place to be.
Stunning view to the bay. Very clean hot showers, toilets (with music) and kitchen. Sitting and BBQ area outside great but 1$ per 15min to use the BBQ does not make sense for a Top10 Holiday Park. But okay they might have reasons for. Very friendly lady at reception. We stayed one night with our motorhome. Can fully recommend this place.

Very good place to stay and take a trip to the glacier.
Hot free showers, bathrooms and toilet clean and warm. Kitchen with enough cooking places and sinks. Nice BBQ area outside under the roof. Friendly and helpful staff. We stayed 1 night with our motorhome. For the second time in New Zealand and we will come back again.

Perfect location to discover Wellington.
Bus stop directly in front of the park. Pricey due to less alternatives. Paid $46 for 2 person + motorhome on powered site for one night, but free wifi unlimited. Facilities run down and could be cleaner. More a parking area. Noise from highway and planes not an issue.

Motorpark just 2 minutes away from the ferry.
Best washroom we had on our trip in the South. Heated room, with music, hot free shower and all very clean. Little traffic noise until last ferry, but not really an issue. Small kitchen with tables and chairs and TV. Perfect for one night before leaving the South. Staff friendly.

Moeraki Boulders Holiday Park @ Hamden Beach
Very nice camping ground.
Very nice and friendly host Alex. Facilities were very clean. Hot showers are free. We had a powered site for $32 2 people + motorhome for one night. We used the BBQ outside and enjoyed our meal in the sun. Due to off-season we had the ground almost alone. Close to the beach and half an hour walk to the boulders. All in all one of the best places in the South and worth to come back.

Riverside Holiday Park
Really nice camping ground with a lovely host Linda.
Very clean facilities and good kitchen. We paid $30 for 2 people + motorhome on a powered site for one night. Perfect place for Buller activities like the swingbridge and jetboat ride on the river! Linda helped us to organise the drive with Alex - cool guy - even the river was high due to raining all night. A place worth to come back.
The main Shower/Toilet block is cleaned everyday regardless of occupancy rate. We are happy to hear that you have enjoyed the jet boat ride. Thank you for taking the time to write this wonderful review. Hope to see you both again soon. All the Best. Cheers.
