Walk took us about two hours return.
Walk was beautiful, only a few steeper sections. But when you arrive at the actual Cathedral Cove, it is all worth it. Parking is really hard but free. If you cannot find a spot, locals offer overpriced parking spots.

Beautiful, peaceful, toilets, water taps, enough parking spots.

People recommended us to do the track backwards, but this was way harder!
Beautiful scenery and so special to walk in a volcanic area! Parking is free, but too small. Toilets are along the way.

Pretty hard to climb them.
Good fun and unforgettable!

We have done the first part of the walk during the nighttime.
We have seen a lot of glowworms. The next day we walked along a river and through caves. All for free and information boards along the walk and toilets and plenty of parking spaces.

Nice 30 minute walk to the base of the waterfall where you can swim in freezing water.
Facilities to clean your shoes for the protection of the kauri trees.
