Plenty of time to be on the bikes.
and you go through different terrains: rock, glacier maraine, rainforest, sand, and dirt roads. Going in the late afternoon meant the rivers were super high. exciting 4wd experience, you get muddy and dirty and rained on..Awesome!

Appellation Central Wine Tours
Great wine tour.
They pick you up and drop you off at your accomodation. You go to 3 wineries and sample like 30 different wines, they give you loads of wine!! Lunch is included and it's really, really good. Wine country is beautiful and the guides really know their stuff.

Glacier Country Helicopters
really fun, what an awesome way to see the glacier and surrounding area.
Just be forewarned, they won't take off unless there are at least 3 people and if the weather gets iffy when your up on the glacier, you wont get the landing..but no worries they give you a partial refund.
Well worth the money for fantastic experience.

Shotover Canyon Swing
Awesome!!
The crew is super funny and makes the whole intense scary experience FUN. The swing itself is wicked! I did two jumps the pin drop was crazy intense since you actually have to make your self jump..the elvis cutaway was a bit easier since they control the time to jump. Choose the jump that's right for you..your guaranteed to have an awesome time.

A must do if you want to see glaciers.
the whole day hike is beautiful and you go through crevasses and the whole bit. To really get a feel for the glaciers, would highly recommend the whole day where you get to spend 6 hours on the ice.

definitely very commercialized and your rushed through your bungy.
Points for being the original site but otherwise skip it and try the canyon swing or the nevis..

TSS Earnslaw Cruise
Really fun and relaxing way to get out on the lake.
The views are incredible. Bring lots of layers if you want to be out on the deck because it's brutal cold. There is an optional farm excursion that was probably fun but we didn't do that, so can't comment on it.

Great experience even though we only did the day hike.
The guide was awesome, explained all about the milford track and the lodges..explained all the plants and birds along the way. Includes lunch at Glad House. Will definatley come back with them to do the entire track. Top notch operation.

Skippers Canyon Jet
Had a great time.
The tour felt super personalized. the 4WD portion has phenomenal views of the canyon, sheer cliffs and the whole bit. They Explained everything about the gold mine history and the general history and geography of Queenstown. The actual jet boat ride was awesome- went really super close to the rocks and the turns were super fun. It must have been a 35-40 min ride- we didn't feel rushed or cramped or cattle-called at all.. The whole experience felt very personalized. Highly Recommended!!!
