The water is so clear and blue (have to pay for the loo though).

Nice walk around a small area where you can dig for hot water, the water can get too hot and it gets quite crowded.

Free walk but $5 shuttle to get there.
Long walk but worth it as the beach is beautiful and not dirty or overcrowded.

Beautiful views and the set is lovely to walk around. And you get a free beer in the Green Dragon!

You can take a short or long walk around the forest.
There were information boards telling/showing you where parts of the film were set, the campsite there was brilliant.

Waitomo Glowworm Caves
Smaller of the glowworm caves but for the price good.
The walk at the end made it worth it and the guide was very knowledgeable of local history.

Lovely views, could see Fishermans Island.

Went to pick up the van without pre-booking and were driving out with a camper three hours later, friendly staff and good van.
Emergency hotline however were not helpful when ringing for advice.
