TIME Unlimited Tours
We had a fantastic time on our half day hiking tour with these guys.
The tour was 4 hours but the guide (forget his name) actually did 5 1/2 hours with us since we had more time. We found that REALLY impressive. Auckland's west coast is really beautifula dnwe're glad we spent a couple more days in Auckland.

Mass tourism at its worst but gave a little insight into Maori culture...

Very nice and interesting place, especially the ferry that sank was well documented.

I really liked this museum.
Tip for other travelers: Visit this museum BEFORE seeing the big Kauri trees; then it all makes morev sense.

Not bad for the price you pay BUT the other areas are more spectacular (and much more expensice too).
