Arrived late, no one was there, so we paid in the morning.
Lovely fireplace inside the living room, more or less clean facilities, no WIFI.

Nice heated pool, very expensive (the most on our 17 days trip), clean facilities, very noisy because of the train and the road on the other side, Kaikoura "city" is a walkway away (5min)

Absolut fantastic atmosphere in the rainforest.
Lovely bar but on the camping site it was quiet anyway. Clean facilities. When we were there, it rained cats and dogs the hole day long...

the kitchen and the living room were closed, we were alone under the trees but we enjoyed it, the train was really noisy, the facilities are basic, staff is friendly

Little River Campground
A little paradise for children and nature lovers, really friendly owner, who put all his fantasy in the campground (piano in the forest, armchair on the hill, scary slippery slide, etc).
Lovely place to be. Facilities as promoted, free WIFI around the toilets :), very quiet campground.

17 days trip trough the south island

Stayed alone on the power site, no heated bathroom, good information from the owner for renting snowboards, more or less clean bathrooms and kitchen.
