Helpful staff, but I was told about a shuttle service to Hanmer Springs that no longer exists (possibly not their fault).

The park was excellent only downside is if you do not have your own transport and have to use one of the shuttle services.
Your time in this park is limited.

Great views from top. Perfect when looking for free things to do in Wellington.

Good facilities but expensive - only $10 cheaper to camp than to stay in hostel.
Friendly owners. No reason to stay there unless working in the area.

Very small museum where you can see props from Peter Jackson films and a DVD showing history of company.
Not great, but I did see Peter Jackson on the way there, which was nice.

Lovely spot, clean toilet, friendly, helpful guy running the place, free.
