Felt they charged too much - but lovely crew.
My wife and I had a private kayaking tour with Brent. He was very friendly and interesting, and the tour was amazing! We kayaked for several hours and got close to dolphins and penguins, as well as cormorants and other seabirds. The trip was fantastic and we had a great time. The price was very reasonable as well.

If you go to Akaroa, do book a Guided Sea Kayak Safari - I'd rate this as One of the BEST things to do anywhere in the world! Excellent guide, who knows all about area/wildlife; top equipment & safety briefing - can't recommend it highly enough.
What a wonderful experience we had on the kayaks. Brent our guide was professional, safe and so knowledgable about Akaroa, sealife and other places of interest on our trip. If you want a brilliant kayaking experience you must try Brent and Akaroa Guided Sea Kayak Safari, money and time well spent. Enjoy !
It was my first time kayaking and I had nothing short of an exceptional time. Brent demonstrated a priority for our safety without treating us like children. It ended up being only me and a friend on the water with him that day, so we had a good bit of freedom out there. Plenty of time in the water with a bit of a break in the middle gave us a chance to really take everything in.
You'll enjoy yourself, especially if you're lucky enough to have the great weather we had.
Wonderful experience and a lot of fun. After a full safety briefing we set out on a sunny warm Akaroa day escorted up the harbour by those cute little dolphins. Thanks Brent for a well run and guided personal tour.
