Picton's Waikawa Bay Holiday Park
We stayed here for 2 nights towards the end of July ‘26.
It was great: friendly staff, nice little playground, amazing views from the pitches and basic but spotless facilities. The bathrooms were fun - our kids loved the funky mirrors and shower curtains.

Pounawea Motor Camp
Friendly people, beautiful setting by the sea and a great kitchen with lots of pots, pans etc.
Everything was really clean. We stayed an extra night.

Rainforest Retreat
We arrived late and the lady on reception couldn’t have been more friendly.
A beautiful site with good facilities. They had architect drawings up for a new wash block so looks like it’s being upgraded soon, too.
Laundry with contactless payment was great!
