Always found a spot here. Very clean and private toilets, close to the sea. Can get very windy though during storms so watch out with large vehicles

Marine Parade Laybys
Absolutely loved this place!
There are two camping areas in New Brighton, very close to each other. You can stay 2 nights in each of them which is great if you’re spending a few days in Christchurch. The area next to the toilets has cold showers with a drain as well! Very nice security guard as well and next to a beautiful beach!

Such a scenic and beautiful campground!
Usually I won’t really recommend the camping sites with a drop toilet but the view especially in the morning was SO BEAUTIFUL it was totally worth it. Lots of spaces, just a bit tricky to find one with kind of a even ground.

Ruakaka Beach Reserve
One of our favourite camping sites!
Lots of clean flush toilets, cold showers, drinking water available, next to a beautiful large beach. Gets full very early and not too many parking lots available don’t arrive too late:)

Awanui Reserve
Best spot to stay at before visiting Cape Reinga, was pretty loud at night since there was a concert nearby.
Was okay but wouldn’t want to stay longer than one night. Clean basic flush toilets
