Nice small campsite.
Doesn't get the sun or moon rise or set as its the other side.
Lovely small stream and neat beach walk.
Dump station and water and toilets. Cold shower.
Lots of people stopping by to walk dogs or use the toilet. Felt safe

Beautiful view.
Beautiful view. Clean and tidy. Quite a few loose dogs around the area.
Unfortunately a few cars pulled up next to my camper dressed in red and black, drinking and carrying on

Nice area.
Clean flushing toilets. The ocean and cliff Views are stunning. Good long beach walk. Short drive into mshia if you need anything from the dairy or bottle store. The sun and moon dont rise or set over this side. They do over the side of the peninsula. Unfortunately loade of slash on the beach

Vinegar Hill Reserve
Beautiful spot over looking the river with fantastic rock cliffs.
Water and toilet available. Showers but i didn't use them. Free and Dog friendly over winter not in summer.
Quite a few people stop by to use the toilets on their travels. No drama and felt safe

Bartlett's Ford Reserve
Huge open camping area.
Loos closed over winter. Very quiet and peaceful. Lots of birds and friendly piwakawaka flitting around. No tap water. Close to the river. Dog had fun playing in the river. Lots.of firepits already established with rocks around the charcoal. Very clean and tidy.

Te Paerahi Beach
Loads of space.
Choice of paddock or under the pine trees. Good toilets and water available. Short walk to the beach and can walk for hours to the left. Good cell coverage and dog friendly.
