Kea Campers
This was my 6th trip to NZ and they have all been campervan holidays - with different companies.
Kea were fantastic to deal with, right from the moment I made online enquiries prior to booking to when we dropped the van off.
There were 7 of us in two 6-berth campervans. The vans were very well equipped, comfortable, roomy (even for a very tall family) and very fuel efficient despite their sizes. We didn't want our 3 weeks to end!
The staff at Kea, particularly Matt and Sarah, were exceptionally helpfully and friendly.
Unfortunately, one of our drivers misjudged a park and ended up bogged in a very remote location on the West Coast. A call to Kea at 8am ensured a tow was efficiently arranged and they had joined the rest of the party only a couple of hours later without any damage other than dented pride!
We are planning our next trip to NZ and would again use Kea and recommend them to anyone else considering this type of holiday.
Unfortunately, chatting to other campers during our travels who were using rival companies, their experiences of their hire companies and vans were not so positive, ruining their trips. Go Kea!!!!

Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre
Wow, an amazing display - 10/10 for that.
However, despite his age and life experience, there was absolutely no need for the gruff and rude attitude by the very elderly gentleman who was a member of staff. Perhaps if he had been more approachable we would have felt comfortable asking questions.

We had a blast!
Can't remember the friendly and helpful young guy's name but there was no problem running a session for a small group (other companies elsewhere are not so obliging we found). Course is excellent, equipment well maintained and always safety first. Liked the added bonus of music in the outdoors!! We played in the freezing cold and snow but would do it all again!!!!!

Your patience, understanding and professionalism ensured both he and us felt completely confident with him in your care for an amazing ride! He has not stopped talking about it!
Dad enjoyed his ride too! Really impressed with the individual pilot's and company's attitude to safety.
Not cheap but a fantastic way to experience some of the most amazing views in the world!!!

Canterbury Museum
We joined a Red Zone bus tour that was guided by Lorraine (?) from the Museum.
The damage from the earthquake is very difficult to comprehend but Lorraine, shared both her own personal experiences and those of the local community in a very compassionate and professional way. It was very difficult not be emotional by the experience but we would recommend this tour to any visitor to Christchurch
