Good spot if you want to stay near Wanaka.
Even in shoulder season it filled up at the evening. Around 5pm/6pm there was still enough space. Didn‘t use the facilities so no review to that.
We didn‘t realise the traffic at night if there was any. Had a good sleep.

Nice dumping station with everything you need.
You will be parked slightly uphill so take that into account when you stop for emptying your tanks

Clean quiet and tidy but everything is starting too get old and renovations need to be done soon.
Very nice staff.
But there is nothing going on from Monday to Wednesday so you need to have everything, foodwise. Since it was our last stop before the flight back we didn‘t have that. So if you‘re looking for a quiet, off place to pack your stuff -> good. If you need some restaurants/cafe -> not so good.
Also the dumpstation is only for emergencies, otherwise they ask you to drive to the next town to dump.

Beautifully situated right by the river.
To get there it takes about 10-20min depending on you speed on the gravel road. As others have mentioned, continue until you pass the 3rd bridge. The camping area is ob the right hand side guarded by a gate that is not locked. There are two signs, one on each side of the gate. If you got time, plan 2 nights here. It was the most picturesque place for us so far.
