This tiny office is well stocked with leaflets and staffed by knowledgable and enthusiastic staff who give accurate information and suggestions. Juggled the needs of a local booking bus travel with a hapless tourist!

I asked for free campsite in that area and she said there are none. The I asked for a map of the region and on that map there were five free campsites!

Avoid Camping Fines!

The only camping map where each location is approved by every regional council in NZ. So if it shows on the map, you’re allowed to stay.
