Sadly all the stores inside the park were closed which they did not tell us at the entrance. For $6 there is not very much to see. Only the brewery is great. Good beer tasting for $12.

Founders Park is a cosy place and a very interesting place to visit. You see how the city looked in the old day. It was a bit expensive compared to the size and experiences in the park.

First half of Founders Walk was well signed but then we ended up on a suburban street.

We enjoyed this very much. Well set out and fascinating exhibits. We learned much about early settlers to NZ. We went on a Monday which was quiet but trains run on Sunday (staff friendly).
