    The location on the map is not totally right, you need to go 200meters further.

    Type waikane park directly on google maps and it should work.

  • Arrived here a little late, and both spaces were still empty.

    The toilets were not far away. It was very quiet until morning, with no issues or strange encounters. Quite a nice spot.

  • We stayed at this site after trying to find space at the other free campsites along the coast.

    This is limited to 2 campervans and there is designated spaces either side of the freedom camping sign. It's right next to a park so good if you have kids. The only downside is the toilets aren't open 24 hours and shut around 7pm but were open at 8am.
