Definitely not the better park we tried.
We booked a place for our van online. No one was there when we arrive !!!! And we see no one when we leave.
So we park randomly
Toilets and shower wasn’t cleaned. Plus you have to pay for shower.
Definitely not worth the price we paid.

Nice small camp ground the motor bike shop next to the camp ground made a bit of noice during the day but didn’t bother us, showers were nice and hot and cost $1.
The kitchen didn’t have a huge amount of stuff in it.

Great place to stay.
Owners Adrienne and Trevor lovely ppl. I base myself in Napier/Hastings over winter, freedom camping, but come to Bay View for a night or 2 each week. Good facilities.

A pub with bistro & bottle shop (Off licence) that has accommodation & campervan sites.
Dump station facilities & cheap. There’s a general store & pharmacy just around the corner. Bookings by phone.

$30 for 2 with electricity. Great shower $1. Kitchen facilities. Clean and tidy. Good location for Napier. Big disappointment for me after reading previous review was wifi. Couldn't get their system to work on any device but even if you could you only get a 50Mb allowance so you won't be doing more than a few emails anyway. Absolutely not the best wifi in NZ! If you need wifi look elsewhere.

Nice friendly staff and neat shower/toilet/kitchen block.
$1 per person for showers. It poured rain the night we stayed and the muddy unsealed road from the toilets/shower to the soggy grassed site was very unpleasant. Lighting to see where you were going was non existent. Still, nice clean facilities if these things were attended to/taken on board. Stayed 4 April.

Really cute place, very quiet. Clean toilet and showers. Showers work on a meter $1 per approximately 5 minutes which is more than enough time, good hot water, good pressure. We stayed on a serviced pitch which was great. Cabins also looked fantastic. Very convenient bar on site which serves hot food until 7pm and good beers. Overall fantastic experience. Reasonably priced.

We had a really good time here.
The owner was friendly and did us a good deal on a tourist cabin. Used the laundry - washing machine and dryer both work well. Showers take a dollar coin for 5 mins. There is also an on site pub which also does meals. Good to have a place with some atmosphere to go to in the evening. I enjoyed getting to play with the gorgeous fluffy Lucky the cat!

Nice place by the bay.
Have to pay for showers ($1 for 5 minutes) but this is due to it being a dry area and to conserve water, the shower pressure and temperature is pretty good though. Lovely friendly staff and there is a cafe on site. Would stay again!

Fantastic!
A small and friendly site with excellent amenities.
This small site had great facilities, with excellent showers and toilets. In addition the kitchen was well equipped with BBQ, cooker/oven, microwave and fridge. There were also pots, pans and cutlery, which was great as we had a very small car and no room to keep pots and pans etc.
However, the best feature about the site were the managers, Rob and Rowena. they were friendly, helpful and found time to chat and make us feel very welcome.
We would recommend this site whole-heartedly.

Ocean is easy to walk on. Gorgeous setting.
