Follow the Waterline Keeney Road track until turning off on a single track. The route undulates along a ridge with excellent views of the Mangatäwhiri and Wairoa reservoirs. Follow Moumoukai Road for a short distance before taking a left turn along a single track back to the car park. (This track is difficult and is not recommended in wet conditions.)
