This campsite is situated on the shores of Lake Middleton, which is next to Lake Ohau. Camp in among the mature douglas fir trees, feels a bit Canadian really. This is a good place for fishing, walking and mountain biking.

Stunning place. Were there is high season. Not many tourists. Lake Middleton is nice but on the other side of the road are also soms spots near lake Ohau. Great views there.

Lovely doc site. Toilets clean. Very popular with locals so need to get there early to get a good spot.

Gorgeous place to stay. Clean toilets. Lake is stunning. What a place to wake up to. Sadly, no fish. I'll just keep practicing casting and maybe one day I'll get one.

We spent one great night in that site, enjoying swimming in the lake and wild birds while a strong wind was sweeping Ohau lake.
Just take care of the sandflies at dusk.

Beautiful secluded spot, great place for the family with Lake Middleton very good for swimming, clean toilets & recycling bins for the rubbish. Great value for the $24 for a family of 4 each night, ended up staying 5 nights we enjoyed it so much. Will come again.
