Very clean and tidy, spacious, quiet, lots of great walks around. Just turn up, grab a spot and a registration form from the box by the toilets. Online payment, easy. Lots of powered sites. Pub across the road, friendly and well priced. Showers 2x 50c Coins. Can’t wait to go back.

Would definitely stay again.
Pub over the way with impressive food (if the roast beef is on offer, you'd better be hungry). Go, enjoy.

Great pub over the road who might change some money for you if you’re nice :) great guy and warm place- good food too! Enough space to hang clothes/towels and get changed in the shower cubicle. Flushing toilets ok as well

At $29.00 per site for power and $24.00 for non-power per night, cheaper than most camp grounds where you pay per person, not per site for two people.
Pleasant surroundings, part of the local sports grounds, even though the facilities are dated, they are kept very clean by the camp custodian. Has dump station on site. Showers have good hot water, uses 2x 50c pieces - need to make sure that you have a supply with you before you arrive.

Rent og pænt og gode faciliteter. Rejser med famile (2 børn & 2 voksne) i autocamper.
Kan varmt anbefales.

WOW, our daughter said we would love this place.
She was not wrong. Our motor home was sited, the kitchen block was as clean as the proverbial whistle, grounds mown, ablution block smelled as clean as they looked. Showers hot for $1.00 (2x50c pieces) kitchen everthing free and spotless. Pet friendly the manager Wendy needs a medal for the hours put in to do the above. We will be back as well sing its praises. Heaps of tracks and walks etc. The tavern across the road is the pits best go further along for kiwi hospitality and real food with a smile. WELL DONE MT SOMMERS DOMAIN COMMITTEE. We will be back soon.

Pleasant campsite that was very quiet when I stayed (early January).
I think the price for pitching my tent $20 was a bit expensive compared to most other campsites and holiday parks. Still, the showers were hot, the kitchen was well equipped and there is a swimming pool nearby!

Affordable and cheap for families as you only pay per site and not by person.
Had fun putting up our tent in the rain and it has a good playground which would have kept the kids entertained if it wasn't raining.
