The track was amazing - did one day walk along the river - it was a big adventure as you are far away from the people and you can experience pure New Zealand and the river is so beautiful!

Great stop on your way to Nelson for a jump in the river. Crystal clear water, deep so you can jump off the rocks. Stop at the picnic place 'Pelorus Bridge' and take the path down.

Deep green, crystal clear waters, the sound of a thousand cicadas singing, completely deserted and giant rock to dive off.
Nice walking track that leads you to two secluded, peaceful waterfalls. Great walk to go relax for a couple of hours.
You can swim in the river! The water is super clear and really nice (but not very warm).
A great track and did not see anyone else. Emerald Bridge pool was stunning - a great spot for a dip!
Thanks to all the good people working for the NZ Department of Conservation - for all your hard work - making NZ more beautiful, accessable and healthy! Cheers 😍
