That was a good stay. I am not getting into any details as DCC decided to close this campground down from the 28th of February 2021.

Times have changed.
Tight gravel sites. Mostly longtime residents. Tent camping on green grass is in a walkthrough area to rugby field. $25 pp unpowered.

Free showers and free laundry make this stay worth it.
Tom the host runs the campground out of his motor home and is very easy to deal with. The area is right next to a big grass park and about a 5 minute walk to the grocery store. $30 for two is a bit pricey for the space but the amenities make it worth it. Ya Tom!

All the people were really nice and $15 per person for an unpowered site.
Really nice view of the mountains! The kitchen had several stoves, oven, microwave and boiler. Not a lot of cutlery. Laundry and iron were free! Showers had good pressure and all the facilities were clean and quiet! Really recommend staying here, only a 15 minute drive to Dunedin and supermarkets were 1 minute away.

Not much to look at but a friendly manager and brilliant facilities included.
It was $30 for a powered site for 2 people. There are hot showers, well equipped kitchen and washing machines and tumble dryers free to use. Really good place to stopover.

The owner is extremely nice and the place is great!
$27 for two people at a powered site plus free use of toilets, hot showers, kitchen, and laundry all included! Would recommend for anyone! 10/10 no question.

Don't waste your time here.
It's a tiny cramped trailer park on the edge of the town park. Not worth $20 per person, non electric. Maybe 12 sites total. Feels like a trailer park in Ghettosville USA. Worst $20 campground of the whole trip. Total rip off. Would not stay again. Kitchen and toilets are okay.
