Fantastic park, friendly and welcoming staff. Facilities are excellent and clean. Back right onto beautiful bush walking tracks. Close to town and a lovely stroll to the restaurants. You have to check out NO. 31 for dinner it’s food was perfection!
Highly recommended- cost $50 for 2 adults.

Very small pitches. Very popular with families with young children as has plenty of play equipment. Showers clean and free and shower blocks heated. However constantly disturbed by people walking straight through our pitch. Expensive for what you get. However close to village. Ideal if you have kids but not for us!

Loved the town & whole area but camp very expensive, the dearest of all been to. Was very wet; muddy on camp spots & roads in camp need more gravel. Facilities quite nice with showers included.
Disgusting! We’ve traveled around NZ for 3 weeks and this was the worst and most expensive site. Facilities were way to few for the numer of sites and everything was dirty all the time. Showers were unisex which isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Not sure how this site got to superior rating but it surely wasn’t for cleanliness.
Enjoyed our stay. Pricey, but it's to be expected. Some power boxes are very far from site, although they have extension cords available I believe. Awesome playground for kiddies. Multiple laundry rooms and bathrooms. The main bathrooms have heaters above the showers and toilets which was beautiful! Outdoor hot tubs are available to hire if the Hanmer Springs aren't your thing. Nice kitchen and dining area. Dump station area is big and out of the way. Would definately come back.
Mediocre campervan site, spaces were cheek to jowl with no privacy screens/hedges/trees between. Generally not as good quality as most Top 10s. Appeared a bit run down .
Sites were cramped and the power was located far away, requiring extra long lines, and going across neighboring site. Kitchen small, and laundry small, not great
Stayed here over the holiday break. Great family campground with loads of different accomodation types including various sizes of powered sites. Although quite pricey it is a good place to stay and enjoy the Hanmer experience.
