  • Fantastic camp!

A full kitchen with everything you’d need, fridges and freezers, toilets, clean showers, and a laundry, and plenty of space if you’re a self contained no power vehicle. If you want the morning sun on your tent in the winter, don’t park behind the trees, go further down the soccer field.

  • This review is ONLY about calling the office for information.

The woman we spoke to was very sweet and helpful and let us know that our small dog was ok to visit as long as it was kept on a leash. Maybe you need to call and check if you are ok taking a dog.

  • Couldnt get on the free camp so went here.

Staff couldn't have been more welcoming, given the reviews we read this is clearly under new management. Facilities were clean and the kitchen was impressive. Great location - near to town and a fab cafe in walking distance. Also nice riverside walk with the opportunity to swim in the river swimming pools. Fab!

  • After reading the reviews we were a little concerned about staying there.

The young chap in the office was a delight to deal with. Friendly and helpful. I asked him how long he had been there - about seven months.

We are fully self contained, so cannot comment on the facilities. Hence I cannot given a higher rating.

It was great that we were able to walk to town.

Very clean so good value for money. Lovely new owner who is really accommodating. So close to town and fantastic walks. Loved it so much we stayed an extra night. Will definitely be back.

  • Absolutely terrible customer service, the old man in the office is not just nasty he is very aggressive.

Only called in to ask whether they allowed dogs in the camping area as the website says 'by arrangement' and he got really nasty very quickly for no apparent reason. I would advise looking elsewhere when staying in Reefton.

  • Terrible customer service, was yelled at in front of everyone from across the carpark for going to use the bathroom that was unknowingly distanced further from our camp site...

camp host sits at the end of the driveway and watches you! Very uncomfortable.

Good walking distance to town but does not outweigh the cons of this accommodation. Highly recommended staying elsewhere.

  • Great place.

Large kitchen facilities. Super hot water in shower. Lots of space on the huge domain for parking so plenty of room between vehicles. Very reasonable and right in town.

  • Great little spot in an old mining town.

Kitchen closes at 10 and the wifi is free at the library up the street. Great facilities.

  • Pleasant town motor home/ tent site.

Some permanent sites. Powered and unpowered site available we had our large 7 metre long camper on unpowered with 2 adults for $25.00 for the night. Clean, older shower, toilets. Free access to large well equipped kitchen. The laundry charge are average. Free access to water and dump station available. eftpos for most cards, not visa, but atm less than 5 minute drive.

Reviewed over 3 years ago and experienced in February 2019

  • Big and very quiet campsite tucked away right by the river.

Shower and kitchen are both good. However, there are extra charges for dump station and we were advised not to use the water because the town just had an E. coli outbreak. $10 to do the laundry ($4 washing and $4 dryer plus $2 for a small bag of washing powder). There is small path right by the camp to access the river but the owner told us not to use them but to go to the swing bridge quite further away, which was strange. Must be near a popular bike path because we saw many biking campers. Overall recommend if you want a quiet space to stay.
