Tauranga Tourist Park is an affordable small sheltered camping ground located only 4 kilometres from the city centre.
We are a family owned and operated park and are 5th generation Kiwis. Our park caters mainly for campervans, caravans and mobile homes with power/non power sites, cyclist sites, basic one room cabins and an en-suite cabin is also available.
We are a dog friendly campground although conditions do apply.

Set in clean tidy garden like surrounds, our sites are a good size and have hedges and specimen trees for that summer shade. There are picnic tables on most sites.

Lovely place! Nice owner, clean facilities, hair dryer available, kitchen a bit small though, the rest was perfect! Paid 40$ for two people for a non powered site.
Tidy, clean and nice staff. Toilets, kitchen and showers were in good condition. Sitting room was a nice touch. Would stay again

Excellent place to stay with friendly and helpful staff, will recommend to everyone
About a 20 walk to The Strand where all the restaurants are in Tauranga. Really nice owners and facilities are always immaculate. Dogs welcome. Quite an urban site but backs onto the water. Few permanent residents but all elderly and friendly. Would stay again.
Very nice place! Everything very clean, unlimited hot showers and the place is very cool and quiet. The owners very helpful and friendly. We had an amazing time there!! Ask for special price for a week if you wanna stay more time.
Very expensive, $30 for just 1 adult with a non power site. Wifi is the most expensive I had seen in NZ $10 for 200mb. Clean premises and friendly owners.
The location is a bit away from everything, unless I was missing something. Kitchen was clean but cold similar story with the showers. The lady on the desk was most helpful though and really friendly, not bad for a 1 night stop. I would probably continue on to the mountain side if I was stopping in Tauranga again.
Check-in procedure was easy, very friendly and informative. Showers take 50c for 5 mins, facilities spotless. Very quiet site on a beautiful inland water area. Key provided to activate entry barrier, no lockdown so can come and go as you please. Great site, will recommend.

Friendly, very tidy and absolutely cheap compared to other accommodation.
Nice tidy organised campground directly at water inlet (tidal). Friendly hostess.
Although clean and modern facilities, kitchen is small for main season/size of campground.
Immaculate facilities at a good price and friendly helpful people. 40 min walk to town but we caught the bus from nearby stop.
