It was nice to be there!!
The beach is not far away, the staff is nice and, as a tent tourist, there is everything you need. The only negative point is that when it rains there is only the kitchen to chill out in. If you work in Dargaville there is a small discount. The nice little huts there aren't that much more expensive either. Hot shower and washing machine are available and if you have any question you can always contact the owner Trish :)

Very windy! Right by the beach and clean facilities - bathroom and kitchen. Wi-Fi was incredible.

Lovely stay.
Park is tired as mentioned in other reviews but is clean. Small playground and tramp for the kids plus a few rope swings dotted around the park. Kitchen is basic but well stocked. Free wifi a bonus. No dump station which isn't listed but it's a short drive into dargaville so not a big drama for us as we headed into town for groceries anyway. Sharkeys is a few doors down and does a great feed with daily happy hour. Overall we loved our stay.

Facilities are 'tired' needs a lick of paint.
No good in the rain, water held on surface...no drainage.
Says dump station but it does not exist, in fact flower pots on the cover! Owners very accommodating but the site is expensive and needs upating. Probably good in the summer, but not when it's wet.

Good for a stop over, but not in the most picturesque of spots.
Close to the beach, but I didn't head down as was just passing through and the weather was horrible.
Facilities all good for the little I used them.
Quite expensive for what it was.

Great camp , nice host , yes the showers are a Lisle old , but a tidy up has begun , in the high season it could be tiresome with the number of facilities, however on an Oct week sheer bliss

Lovely campsite, almost empty.
Booked but on arrival told that at this time of yr no need, very friendly staff. Free hot shower for 5 mins. Clean toilets. Shared kitchen with jobs and microwaves, we did not use as camper has kitchen. Laundry onsite too again not used as no need. Beach 5 minutes walk, steep hill down to beach and back up to campsite. Not a swimming beach. Really rough waves. Beautiful sunset.

Kleiner Platz, freundliche Besitzerin.
Alte Küche, alte Bäder. Dusche per Knopf angeblich 5 Minuten warmes Wasser, gefühlt viel kürzer. Toiletten nicht so sauber.
10 Minuten bis zum Strand. Wifi in Ordnung, ist umsonst.
40 Dollar für unpowered 2 erwachsene Menschen

Yes much same as previous review.
Expensive for what it is, very run down and dismal communal cooking/eating area. Tent pitches OK but ambience not helped with a JCB digger parked nearby. Not close to the beach. Wifi extra as well. Not worth the cycle out to.

we have passed here on our way to the Cap Reinga.
Hi Folks,
Was our first stop in NZ.
The staff was very friendly, but the price was too high for what was returned. The holiday park was quite used up and shaggy, though clean. We used our own facilities. The surroundings are OK. Nothing very special.
Cheers
