We were self contained, so didn’t investigate the kitchen block.
Showered in the new ablution block which you had to pay for with limited water, hard to get the temperature right within the timeframe. The old block was free with unlimited water.
Able to pay for washing machine using your phone which was handy.
5 min walk to the beach.
5 min drive to the township

Very friendly. Sandy sold me some If his personal beef at cost price so I could enjoy some barbecue.

Lovely shared space with log fire. Covered kitchen, space for charging items and free hot showers. Welcoming staff and nice campsite guests!

Fantastic place!
The best since we’ve been travelling through NZ for 6 weeks!! Lovely tropical gardens, lots of privacy. Good vibe, every clean and cost.

Showers are amongst the best we have ever used. Beautiful and lush gardens have a tropical vibe. Kids loved all the swings and the communal area has a great vibe with open fire. Only fault is the communal kitchen was a bit dirty, dishes not fully cleaned, cupboards smelt very damp, oven a mess and only plastic cutlery available. Overall however, we would stay again.

One of the nicest campgrounds we stayed at in Northland.
Immaculately clean. Nice landscaped gardens and a really nice lounge to relax in in the evenings.

What amazing hosts and so accommodating.
The park is huge clean and tidy. The accommodation was perfect for us and we had everything we needed. Thanks guys we will defiantly be back.

Also enough space to find a quiet spot if your camping.

Nice camp ground with a reasonable view and very good amenities but completely outrageously priced, paid $52 for two people one night, Wich seems alot for just a place to park without power.
It offers a sense of security from the town it's in which seems to have not particularly friendly locals and feels vaguely unsafe.

Such a lovely place to stay in the far North!
Amazing shared spaces for families or couples to hang out and kick back. Very close to 90 Mile Beach which is a major bonus! The hot showers were a highlight and definitely needed going into winter. Facilities overall awesome, would highly recommend!!!

Toilets/showers were great!
Sadly only one toilet building. Tent/powered sites are very basic, sometimes not flat. Great communal area for cooking and hanging out. Beware the mosquitos!

Neat and tidy garden like setting.
Powered sites feel a bit cramped due to hedging but nicely shaded. About 10 min to the beach by foot. Good Wi-Fi included.
