Great!
Showers are amongst the best we have ever used. Beautiful and lush gardens have a tropical vibe. Kids loved all the swings and the communal area has a great vibe with open fire. Only fault is the communal kitchen was a bit dirty, dishes not fully cleaned, cupboards smelt very damp, oven a mess and only plastic cutlery available. Overall however, we would stay again.

Immaculately clean. Nice landscaped gardens and a really nice lounge to relax in in the evenings.

Owner complained that they were busy when we booked!
She was also grumpy on arrival. Pretty setting with lots of trees segregating everyone but still cramped in. They have expended and not added more facilities so you had to queue for everything. Facilities are newish and clean but just not enough of them. Pay laundry in site, yet again you have to queue. Wifi was bad and kept on dropping out. On the plus side the 2 staff members that we met were really helpful.

Nice camp ground with a reasonable view and very good amenities but completely outrageously priced, paid $52 for two people one night, Wich seems alot for just a place to park without power.
It offers a sense of security from the town it's in which seems to have not particularly friendly locals and feels vaguely unsafe.

This place is wonderful!
Great staff, safe, quiet, great facilities and thank goodness they’re not charging you to use the shower.
Only downside is the price. We paid $44 for two adults on a powered site. Personally I think this is overpriced.

We usually go for free or low priced sites so this was an unusual stop for us.
What a good surprise - the site is beutifully landscaped. The showers and toilets are spotless and very high standard. The communal spaces have real character.
As I write, we are in the midst of a drought. We have been unable to find any potable water to fill our tank for a week north of Kerikeri. This site has its own bore and unlimited fresh water.
We felt the $44 we paid was money well spent.
Only small gripe is the dump station which has a bolted-down grill over the exit. That made for a rather nasty session of poking and hosing to make it all go away - hence the 9 rating rather than 10.

We could not have picked a better campground for our holliday in the Far North, the grounds are full of amazing plants and trees, it was like camping in a botanical garden.
Right from the very start we were met by the awesome family that owned it, very friendly and welcoming (they should be teaching other campgrounds how it should be done). All the staff smiled and nothing was too much for anybody, the gardener even picked fresh bananas for our two children. Toilets (with bouncy music) were cleaner than ours at home, likewise, the kitchen and outdoor BBQs and all free including high pressure showers. They have a wee shop with essentials at normal retail prices and a massive selection of ice creams. What an amazing find. The only thing we didn't like was leaving Ahipara(dise) campground. Might be back at easter. Thank you so much guys.

Definitely the place to come if you like a cozy campground with a bit of privacy and plenty of plants and trees for shade!
Whoever does the garden is very talented. Friendly hosts, clean facilities and a well equipped kitchen. Few people there when we arrived, so we got to pick a spot we liked after going through reception.
Just off 90 mile beach if you want to go for a drive, fishing, sand boarding... Beautiful area to stay in.

A groovy campground in a surf town at the south end of Ninety Mile Beach.
The facilities were clean and tidy, with an excellent lodge area for relaxing in. It doubles as a YHA, so there's beautiful murals everywhere - even the toilet block is decorated! The showers are free and unmetered. A short walk to the beach.
