My wife and I spent 35 days in a virtually brand new 2-berth motorhome rented from this excellent company, collected in Christchurch and returned in Auckland.
This is the fifth time we have rented from Tony and his team since 2012 and we have always appreciated the excellent service they provide, the quality of the vehicles and the support which is always available when needed.
During our travels around both South and North islands we were often complimented by other campground occupants on the van we were using which was very comfortable to drive, economical on fuel and which had very comfortable living accommodation including a rear U-shaped lounge which converted into a very comfortable king size bed. The van was very well equipped and Glenn kindly provided us with two linen packs given the duration of the hire. Glenn also very kindly collected us from our hotel in Christchurch for the handover on Day 1 and Eddie’s son kindly drove us to our hotel in Auckland once we had returned the van.
One small issue, it would have been useful to have had an oven as having only the microwave and the hob does limit the options when dining in. However this was only a minor issue and we adapted over the rental period.
We have really enjoyed our five memorable sojourns in New Zealand and wouldn’t hesitate to strongly recommend Discover NZ Motorhomes if you are planning a road trip in NZ in the future.

Shit service booked a campervan and then we went into lockdown change the dates didn’t hear nothing from them for one year no emails nothing until they tried taking money out at which stage it was too
late lost our deposit and wouldn’t let us change the dates again do not use them

We just spent almost 2 weeks in an Imala 730 motorhome touring the South Island of NZ and we were extremely happy with the quality of the fitout plus the driving performance, Tony and his team were extremely

Both representatives were informative, friendly and very helpful.
No issues with the campervan except the gas ran out which was a little frustrating as it we were in a town the could refill it.

Excellent all round.
Responsive, informative and friendly communication and service from Tony and his team. Superb vehicle (Imala 720). Travelled Nelson to ChCh, 6 nights via the West Coast & Haast Pass with 2 adults and 2 under 5's.

Booked Britz campervan online with Discovery Motorhomes.Discovery Motorhomes answered within 24 hours any of my follow up emails with further questions that I had.
Dealt directly with Britz apon arrival and they were great.
Only thing is that Discovery Motorhomes said I could add on an awning but on arrival Britz informed me that the make of van does not facilitate an awning.

We hired our camper van from Discover NZ again this year because we had such a good experience with them last year.
They didn’t disappoint. We had a few minor issues with the van (brake lights went) but they were fixed very quickly and the communication with Tony was fast and efficient. The collection and delivery of the van was simple and very well organised. We would highly recommend them.
