  • Premium Lounge - Dont waste yr money,its crap crap and crap.

    its such a small dingy crowded area, food is crap no views we had to sit in the middle of room on a 4 sitter table sharing it with anothe couple. The energy in there was depressing. We left sat in the general lounge which was 100 ti es better and nicer,had real coffee a and sushi for lunch.

  • Terrible customer service.

    Terrible customer service. We arrived 30 mins before departure as stated on their tickets and were told by the manager that we could not get on despite cars being wheeled on as we stood there. Go with Bluebridge ferries

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our Interislander ferry experience.

    The trip was smooth despite the weather being wet & windy. The staff were extremely professional, helpful & friendly. The biggest surprise was that we found a separate area on the boat called the Pelorus Jack Lounge where for an additional $50 you got beautiful big lounge chairs, sensational.scones, cheeses & wonderful happy service. We had a great time.

  • Not enough comfortable seating.

    Over sold and uncomfortable. Over $400 for my partner and I to be extremely uncomfortable for 3 hours. I will be booking with Bluebridge from now on.

  • Booking with inter island ferry today- for Monday Nov 20- we were quoted $530 for a refundable fare!

    DOUBLE what friends (larger van and 2people)paid last Thursday. ($264)

    So 2 ferries are out of commission and they are transferring the repair cost to their customers- this is ONE WAY

    They do not offer any fixed prices and there are no promises whether they will sail for sure. They are taking total advantage of customers! Not impressed with this service. I’m kinda scared of what we’ll be charged to come back!

  • We had a few hiccups and had to keep changing our booking, Picton ground staff were amazing and supportive of our situation.

    We booked lounge on the Ferry and that was outstanding with really friendly staff too! Great experience!!!

  • Plus lounge fiasco.

    I normally get a private cabin and sleep on the trip, but this time the cabs were all booked, so I purchased a pass to the plus lounge.

    For $80 I got to sit separately from other passengers in a lounge with crummy chairs, which were ok to sit on otherwise. The food was average at best. Very few options. No salads. The closest thing that came to vegetables was mushy beans and peas cooked from frozen. Disgusting.

    Only cheap cookies offered for dessert. Cheap tasting coffee.

    The bathrooms looked like they have not been cleaned in days. Make bathroom had only one working cubicle. The toilet paper was on the dirty floor as the toilet paper holder was broken. The toilet seat had a generous splash of urine and a dusting of pubic hair on the seat. And no, you don’t get paper towels in the lounge.

    Don’t waste your money this is a complete rip off. Shame on you interislander.

    Interislander used to be punctual. Now.......?!?? What’s up with arriving - departing late day after day? Aratere on 20 ánd 21 May destroying plans for after their sailing: NO explanation for lateness provided BOTH times.......is this a daily occurrence now? What’s going on?

  • Beautiful way to travel between the two islands.

    They can take your rental car too. Comfortable accommodations inside and gorgeous views outside on the deck.
