I finally did the SkyJump from the Sky Tower, and wow… what an unreal experience.
Standing at the top, looking over all of Auckland, my heart was racing — but the crew made everything so much easier. They were super friendly, explained everything clearly, and made sure I felt safe and ready before stepping off.
The moment you jump is something you can’t even explain — that instant adrenaline rush, the feeling of dropping, and then suddenly slowing down while taking in the insane views of the city… it’s just next level.
The whole experience was smooth from start to finish, and the team made it fun, not scary. You can tell they know exactly what they’re doing.
If you’re in Auckland and thinking about it — just do it. It’s such a unique experience and definitely one of those “live life” moments you’ll never forget.
Highly recommend SkyJump at the Sky Tower. 100% worth it 🤍

Whilst not having the acceleration of a bungy, the great height of the jump is pretty terrifying.

192m skyjump from the tallest building in the Southern Hemisphere.
A bit expensive but a once in a lifetime experience, it is worth it.

Had an amazing time!
Was absolutely terrified, but the guys were so great, and helped me jump, even if I did have to do it backwards :) Well worth it! And I love telling everyone that I've jumped off the Auckland Sky Tower.... definetly a converstaion starter.

It's a long way down!!!
So if you're scared of heights, this is a really good way to confirm why you're scared, but do it anyway. You'll regret having gone to Auckland and not having done it.
It was so good that when they asked me if I'd like to jump again (for free, it was a slow day), I was back in the lift within seconds.
Great staff as ever with these experiences. Never felt at risk, everything checked twice. Highly recommended. No eye popping deceleration as with a bungy jump. Do buy the DVD (the camera follows you all the way down), nobody will believe you did it otherwise!

Walk - an excellent way to view Auckland! Guide gave lots of info and was very supportive and encouraging when leaning off edge.

Very organised and funny staff, great experience to jump from 192m, but it's not like bungee jumping it's more controlled and not so fast!

Disappointing that the jump is stopped at 10 metres (for photos??). Good kick.
